About Tom Heyer

Tom is originally from Oklahoma, coming to Atlanta straight out of Oklahoma State University where he was involved in basketball and local banking.  Tom is a very competitive individual based on his athletic background and values winning every client that he speaks to by placing them in the best home financing options that fits their goals.

Tom comes from a twelve year career in banking that evolved from large corporate lending to small business loans in Cobb County.  It was during Tom's later years while working for a community bank, his passion moved towards working with people on a more personal level.   During his career in commercial lending, Tom saw too many people end up with less than desirable results when financing a home. 

Tom's ultimate goal is to create and maintain healthy, long-term relationships with his clients.  Think about it - you have professionals in every area of your life that provide you good services on a long-term basis, like your financial advisor, accountant, lawyer, doctor or trusted mechanic.  Why do so many people look at getting a mortgage as a short-term relationship?  When you consider that for most people, buying or refinancing a home is a big event, why do they settle for a loan officer they don't know and trust?

Today, Tom still gives his time to the Cobb Association of Realtors and as a community coach with Hillgrove High School's Basketball and Softball programs.  Tom will be there for you, your family, your friends and associates by offering more than any other mortgage professional will give you.
